Activating your license

What you'll learn: how to enter your license token so MaxPanel unlocks and you can start using it.

Before you start

You'll need:

  • A finished MaxPanel install (see Installing MaxPanel on your server)
  • Your license token — a long string of characters we email you when you sign up or start your free trial

Can't find the email? Check your spam folder, then sign in to https://maxpanel.cenmax.in and copy the token from your customer dashboard.

Step 1 — Open your panel

In a browser, go to your panel address (for example https://panel.yourbusiness.com).

If your panel hasn't been activated yet, you'll be taken automatically to a page titled "Enter license token".

Step 2 — Paste your token

  1. Click in the large text box.
  2. Paste the entire token. It's long — that's normal, paste the whole thing.
  3. Click Activate.

After a few seconds, you'll be taken to the login screen.

Step 3 — That's it

Your license is now active. The panel will quietly check in with our license server in the background to keep itself up to date — you don't need to do anything.

If something goes wrong

  • "Server returned 400" or "invalid token" — double-check that you copied the entire token (it's easy to miss the last character). Try again.
  • "Server returned 403" — your license might already be in use on a different server, or it's been deactivated. Contact support and we'll sort it out.
  • The page won't load at all — make sure your panel finished installing and that HTTPS is working. See the troubleshooting tips at the bottom of Installing MaxPanel on your server.

Now that the panel is unlocked, you'll need to create your first admin account so you can log in.
