What happens if my license expires?
What happens if my license expires?
What you'll learn: what to expect if your subscription lapses, and how to get back up and running.
The short version
If your license expires (because a payment failed, your trial ended without you subscribing, or you cancelled):
- Your customers' websites keep working.
- Their email keeps working.
- You and your customers can no longer sign in to the panel until you renew.
In other words: your business stays online. Only the control panel itself locks until you sort the billing out. We designed it this way on purpose — a billing problem should never take a customer's site down.
Why might my license expire?
The two common reasons:
- Payment failed. Your card was declined, expired, or there wasn't enough on it. Stripe will retry a few times before giving up.
- You cancelled the subscription on purpose.
In either case, you'll receive email notices before and after the panel locks.
How do I get my panel back?
- Go to https://maxpanel.cenmax.in and sign in.
- Update your card or restart your subscription from the customer portal.
- Once payment goes through, your license token is automatically refreshed.
- Refresh your panel page — it'll let you in again.
You don't need to reinstall anything or re-enter the license token. The panel checks in with our license server in the background and unlocks itself.
What if I want to move servers?
If your license expired because you're moving to a new server, contact support — we can help you migrate without disruption.
What about my data?
Your data is safe. Locking the panel doesn't delete anything. Customer accounts, websites, mailboxes, databases, and backups are all preserved exactly as they were. Once you renew, everything is right where you left it.
"I cancelled by accident — can I undo it?"
Yes. Sign in to the customer portal and start a new subscription, or contact support and we'll help. There's no penalty for resubscribing.
